Charlene Marie Knight

Charlene Marie Knight, a beloved matriarch and devoted servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026. Born on October 8, 1942, in Bakersfield, California, she lived a life marked by unwavering faith, love, and kindness that touched everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Cleo “Gert” Goltz, her son Donnie Henry, her sisters Gwendolyn Hill and Lorna Roper, and her brother Randall Goltz.

Charlene is survived by her loving husband, Michael Knight; her daughters, Pamela Frazier (Steve) and Karen Henry; her son, Chris Henry (Kelly); her beloved grandchildren and cherished great-grandchildren; and her brothers, John, Chuck, and Alan Goltz. A devout Catholic, her faith guided her throughout her life as she actively served her church community and helped those in need. She enjoyed a meaningful career as an Associate Manager with the Veterans Affairs while also participating in the Mauldin and Fountain Inn Chambers of Commerce. Her warmth, infectious smile, and compassionate spirit will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She will be laid to rest in Graceland East Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Aicardi Syndrome Foundation.
