Charite Doris Pericien

Charite Doris Pericien

May 15, 1975 February 10, 2026

Charite Pericien Doris was born on May 15, 1975, in Mole Saint Nicolas, Haiti, to her late parents, Lesephie Forestal and Saint Pierre Doris. From a young age, she displayed a strong, determined spirit and developed a passion for entrepreneurship by cooking and selling Haitian treats. She was hardworking, driven, and always willing to do what was necessary to provide.

In 2005, she gave birth to her daughter, Bainicha Pericien. Despite life-threateningcomplications during labor, by the grace of God she survived and was blessed with many more years to love and care for her family. On November 23, 2009, she moved to the United States and later married her husband, Laubaine Pericien, on January 1, 2010. She was a devoted mother to her daughter Bainicha and to her adopted daughter, Claudia Belle-Fleur, whom she lovingly raised after the passing of her sister.

Her love extended far beyond her immediate household. Even while living in the United States, her heart remained in Haiti, where she became a mother figure and provider to many of her siblings children. Distance never stopped her from making sure they were supported and cared for.

She worked faithfully for 12 years at Sheraton Vistana, known for her dedication and strong work ethic. After that season ended, she continued making Haitian snacks to help provide for her family, never losing her entrepreneurial spirit. She believed in staying active and purposeful, always putting her family first.

She is survived by her husband, Laubaine Pericien and her children, Bainicha Pericien and Claudia Belle-fleur.

She also leaves behind her siblings: Yolèt Doris, Sereni Doris, Dajanson Doris, Vierjenie Doris, Pére-l'homme Doris, Sidoles Doris, Audrick Doris, Neklè Doris, Tiga Doris, Monte-ville Doris, Alemenes Doris, Yawe Doris, Milouse Doris, Annatin Doris and host of nieces, nephews and family members.

Above all, Charite was a woman of deep and unwavering faith. She trusted the Lord in every season, constantly praying and standing firm on God’s promises. On February 10, 2026, the Lord called her home. A true warrior and survivor, she faced illness with remarkable strength, grace, and faith. Though she is deeply missed, her love, prayers and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and the lives of all who knew her.
