Chad Alan Smith

Chad Alan Smith of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 34. Known for his warmth and kindness, Chad touched the lives of many and leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew him.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Fred Smith and Sally “Susie” Kromer, and by Kris Schlaefli. Chad is survived by his wife Alyson; his parents, Charles “Chuck” Smith and Kelly Smith; his sister Lindsey Behnen (Brian); his in-laws Glenn and Cyrette Erutti; his grandmother Margy; his uncles Fred Smith and Andy Smith; and his siblings-in-law Kristin, Dominic Vassallo, Joanna Erutti, Stephen and Carrie Erutti.

Through his gentle spirit and the love he shared with family and friends, Chad created a lasting legacy of compassion and connection that will be deeply missed.
