April 16, 1937— March 15, 2026
Camillus, NY
Cesar Pais Figueiredo, 88, of Camillus, passed away peacefully on Sunday at Iroquois Nursing Home. Born on April 16, 1937, in Portugal, he later moved to Brazil, where he married his beloved wife, Lina, in 1965. The couple immigrated to the United States in 1974 and settled in Camillus, which became their cherished home for many years. Cesar worked as a dedicated and skilled polisher for the Marsellus Casket Company in Syracuse. A communicant of St. Joseph’s Church, he found great joy in gardening and, above all, in the company of his family, with whom he created many lasting memories.
He was predeceased by his wife, Idalina “Lina,” in 2025; his parents, Jose and Ana Figueiredo; four brothers; and two sisters. Surviving are his son, Jose (Jacqueline Delia) of Liverpool; daughter, Ana Maria (Dean) Hardin of Camillus; grandson, Adam Hardin; granddaughter, Sarah Hardin; brother, Joao (Linda) Figueiredo of Camillus; sister, Amelia (Carlos) Monteiro of Portugal; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cesar’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the 3rd floor at Iroquois Nursing Home for the kindness, compassion, and care they showed him.
