She was born to Jose and Maria (Rios) Hernandez on March 13, 1926 in Gardena, CA. Celia was truly the matriarch of her family. She was small (110 lb.) but tough keeping the family together through good times and bad. She also had a huge heart always putting family first. Celia is survived by her children Joseph "Eddie" (Diane) Vigil of Hacienda Heights, Lydia (Don) Boynton of Fountain Valley, Irene (Richard) Szakovits of Bonita, and Tomas Vigil of Anaheim; grandchildren Paul (Jennifer) Boynton, Matthew Boynton, Alan (Veronica) Chafatinos, Joseph Szakovits, Allison (Blaze) Riverstone and Lucy Czarnicki; and 6 great grandchildren.
