She was a strong woman that enjoyed life to the fullest.She was born on July 21, 1931 in New Rochelle, NY, to John and Louise DiNapoli. She graduated from Albert Leonard High School, New Rochelle in 1949. Celeste married her late husband, Harold Anthony St. John, on February 23, 1952 at St. Joseph's Church in New Rochelle. They were happily married for 49 years.Celeste loved the beach. Her favorite time of the year was the summer. She would spend a lot of time at the Beach & Tennis Club with lots of family and friends. She also loved going to the casinos in Atlantic City and Connecticut. Celeste loved cooking Italian food with family dinners on Sundays. She loved socializing with friends and family. She worked at Lord & Taylor, cosmetic department for Elizabeth Arden, for over 30 years. She loved it. When she retired from Lord & Taylor she had a part-time job at a pasta shop in Goldens Bridge, NY. She worked there until she was 80. She really loved working. She spent the last 5 years living with her daughter and son-in-law on Martha's Vineyard.
