Celerino Aguilar, Sr.

Celerino Aguilar, Sr., 64, of Kilgore, passed away on March 5, 2026. Born on September 2, 1961, he was a devoted family man who spent much of his life working in the oil field, where he was known for his strong work ethic and resilience. He also drove trucks and worked in tree service, showing his versatility and deep commitment to providing for his loved ones.

Celerino had a true passion for the outdoors. He loved riding horses and attending horse races, finding joy in nature and the simple pleasure of being outside. His warmth and genuine spirit drew people to him, and he treasured every moment spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Esther C. Aguilar, Stacy Arellano, Ricardo Aguilar Lara, Erick D. Aguilar, Alfonso Aguilar, Celerino Aguilar Jr., Monica Aguilar, and Alan Aguilar, along with many grandchildren and extended family members and friends who will remember him with great fondness.

Celerino was preceded in death by his father, J. Guadalupe Aguilar Gonzales, his mother, Maria De Jesus Lara Zamarron, his son, Sergio M. Aguilar, and his granddaughter, Jaylene E. Aguilar. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
