Cathy L. Pratt

Cathy Pratt, 80, of Great Bend, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, surrounded by her family. She is now at rest with the Lord and with the love of her life, Richie Harendza.

Born on November 30, 1945, in Livingston Manor, New York, Cathy was the daughter of the late Irene Mildred Smith and William Charles Braungard. She was preceded in death by her sister Robin Wilson and her brother Gary Braungard. For more than thirty years, Cathy worked as a home health aide. She volunteered at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and served as a foster grandparent at the YWCA. She touched many lives, including those of Jess and Frank Greenwood and their two sons, Mary Jane Homovich, and her dearest friend of more than twenty-five years, Carol.

Cathy will be remembered for her kindness, quick wit, and warm smile. She had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, and her generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Hall, Denise Moppart, Brian Pratt, and Douglas Wilson; her sisters Michelle Gelatt and Penny Wall; her brother Steve Braungard; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.
