Catherine Jenkins ObituaryPublished by Legacy on Mar. 5, 2026.Catherine Mary Jenkins, 65, passed away surrounded by her loving family at her home in Arapahoe, Wyoming, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.She was born on September 24, 1960, in Riverton, Wyoming, to Nora Adelia Jenkins. Catherine grew up on the Wind River Reservation in the St. Stephen's area and attended school there as well as Intermountain Boarding School in Brigham City, Utah.Catherine worked throughout the Riverton area as a housekeeper and later worked as a dishwasher and food prep worker for the Wind River Casino. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. Catherine enjoyed beading, watching basketball, and watching the Super Bowl. She was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church.She is survived by her sons, Terrence P. Jenkins and children Monnie, Tyra, and Nyra; Lawrence D. Jenkins, Jr.; and Charles Mister Brown; daughters Amanda L.N. Jenkins and children Terrence, Terrell, and Kayanna, and Jamie L. Jenkins and children Zaylee, Koa, Caine, Norelle, and Zairiah; goddaughters Charnele D. Jenkins and children, Tala T. Spotted Elk and children, and Charlene Brown and children; grandson Damon SunRhodes; brothers James Mike Jenkins and family, Paul Warren, Sr. and family, and Clarence Jenkins; sisters Claudia D. Jenkins and family, Pauline Polen and family, Kathleen Warren and family, Caroline Hill and family, and Marie Jenkins and family; nieces, Adelia Jenkins, Melain Jenkins and family, Rosa Warren and family, Sonya Warren and family, Kelly Jenkins, Ana Ybarra and family, Cheyenne Runs Medicine and family and Claudia M. Jenkins and family; nephews, Jimbo, Ronnie, Yosh and Joey Jenkins; grandchildren, Amanda Moss and family, Alana Moss and family, Modesta Blackburn and family, Raydon Blackburn and family, Jude Blackburn, Anotonia and Chester Moss; along with the many families of the Jenkins, Warren and Oldman families. Jenkins, Sr.; grandsons Daniel Willow, Raidyn Miller, Baby Girl Jenkins and Baby Girl Willow; brothers Jude John Jenkins, Sr., Thurlo Jenkins, Anthony Jenkins, Bernard Jenkins, Lloyd Jenkins, Hubert Warren, Jr., and Julian Jenkins; sisters Michelle Jenkins, Lucy Jenkins, Belinda Warren, Judy Warren, Janice Jenkins, Mary Jenkins, and Josie Jenkins; nephews Jude James Jenkins, Sr., Jerome Warrren, Sr., Hubert Pote Warren, and Cody Blackburn; grandparents Thurlo and Amanda Jenkins; aunts Inez Warren and Lydia Jenkins; and uncles James Arthur Jenkins, Lloyd Anthony Jenkins, and Hubert Warren, Sr.: granddaughter, Janelle Warren; brother-in-law, Charlie Brown; niece, Jody Blackburn.A Vigil service with a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Eagle Hall with a wake to follow. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 9, 2026, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
