Catherine (Peggy) Margaret Brown

Catherine (Peggy) Margaret Brown, 96, of Verona, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. Born in Pittsburgh on June 26, 1929, she was the daughter of the late William Regis O’Neill and Elsie Mae Johe O’Neill. A longtime resident of Verona, Catherine was preceded in death by her brother, William John O’Neill, and her devoted husband, John David Brown.

She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law in Georgia. A longtime active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Catherine served on numerous committees over the years. She enjoyed bowling, remained a passionate fan of the Pirates and Steelers, and cherished the many years she spent with close friends in her card clubs.

It was a special blessing that she was able to spend her final year at Seneca Village, next door to her lifelong friend Jessie Nepsa. Her family is deeply grateful for the love and devotion shown by Joey Nepsa and his family, as well as the dedicated staff and caretakers at Seneca Village, Seneca Place, Seneca Manor, and Three Oaks Hospice.
