Catherine Lewis

Dr. Catherine Cionfolo Lewis passed away at the age of 60 after a courageous battle with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. A lifelong educator who earned her doctorate in education, Catherine devoted her career to serving students and teachers with compassion, strength, and integrity. As a respected principal and leader, she inspired those around her and worked tirelessly to bring out the best in everyone she encountered.

Known for her kindness and selflessness, Catherine cared deeply for others and offered unwavering support and encouragement to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her dedication to education as well as for the warmth, wisdom, and gentle guidance she shared so generously throughout her life.

Above all, Catherine was devoted to her family. She was a loving wife and proud, caring mother whose strength and love shaped the lives of those closest to her. Her family was her greatest joy, and she gave them the same boundless care she extended to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Catherine is survived by her loving husband, William; her daughter, Rachel; her brother, John; and her mother, Lee. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
