She had just celebrated her 93rd birthday on February 12, 2026.Catherine was a devoted member of the Catholic Church and a woman whose life was centered around faith, family, and love. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life-spending time with those she loved most, enjoying chocolate, and sharing her affection with the many dogs she adored over the years. Her warmth, kindness, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roman Peter Lapczuk Sr.; her parents, Edward Charles DuValeus, Sr. and Dovie L. DuValeus; a son Lawrence (Larry) who passed at 9 months old, her brother, Edward Charles DuValeus, Jr.; and her cherished granddaughter, Amber Nicole "Nikki" Solis.Catherine leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor her memory: her son, Roman Peter Lapczuk, Jr. (Marla); her daughter, Linda Solis (John); her grandchildren, Heather Isom (Kevin), Jake Solis, and Shelby Anderson (Christopher); and her great-grandchildren, Aidyn and Addisyn Lindquist, and Luca Anderson along with her Goddaughter Cheryl (Cherie), many nephews, friends who treated her like family (Denise, Mark, Tyler, Daniel and Erika.Catherine's life was a testament to the importance of family, faith, and unconditional love.
