Lemelle Drive.Rev. Fr. Donald Bernard, Celebrant will officiate.Following the Mass, entombment will be held in the Mausoleum of Saint Edward Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Dale Street in New Iberia, LA.The visitation will be held at Fletcher Funeral Home on Saturday, March 21, 2026, beginning at 7:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 A.M. followed by a moment for the reading of the obituary and tributes.Ms. Catherine Jones was a resident of New Iberia, LA. She peacefully departed this earthly life at her residence on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 4:45 a.m.She was a proud graduate of New Iberia Senior High School, Class of 1971. Following high school, she attended Delta College, where she earned a degree in Business Administration.Ms. Jones was a devoted member of Saint Edward Catholic Church, where she faithfully served as the Church Secretary for more than twenty-five years. During her years of service, she also served as a Eucharistic Minister, member of the Katherine Drexel Society, and a former member of the Saint Edward Booster Club.She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Paul Anthony Phillips, Jr. of Broussard, LA; two daughters, Brandy Marie Phillips of Baton Rouge, LA and Tiffany Ann Phillips of Saint Martinville, LA; six grandchildren, Kyelon Michael Hill (Dakari), Jaiclyn Makienze Phillips, Dillan Ghian Phillips, Kayden Anthony Hugan, Tanner John Gardner, and Kalani Catherine Hugan; great-grandchild, Braxton Hill; four brothers, Francis Jones, Sr. (Linda), Nelson Jones (Jeanette) of New Iberia, LA; Raymond Jones (Tina) of Lafayette, LA and Johnny Jones (Mary) of Saint Martinville, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, Early Jones and Lorena George Jones; two grandchildren, Kayson Anthony Hill and Kaylie Hill; two sisters, Mary Ann Jones Chretien and Hilda Rose Jones Stutts; brother-in-law, William "Doc" Chretien; niece, Joanette Jones.Active Pallbearers will be Kyelon Michael Hill, Dillian Ghian Phillips, Terrance J. Chretien, Byron J.
