She was predeceased by: her parents, Carson Lee and Nettie Agnes Jenkins (Entsminger); and her siblings, Arthur Jenkins, Douglas Jenkins, Norman Jenkins, Charles Jenkins and Mary Furr.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael L. McKay (Maria Brock) of Winchester, Virginia, Robert S. McKay (Jodi) of Charlotte and Jeffrey A. McKay (Heather) of Winchester, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Sierra Brock, Brady McKay, Quincy McKay, Wyatt McKay, Logan McKay and Emileigh McKay; and her siblings, John Jenkins of Martinsburg, Leonard Jenkins of Upper Marlboro, Frances Pittman of Norfolk, Virginia and Dorothy Dean of Winchester, Virginia.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Omps Funeral Home - Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cathy's memory to Henry & William Evans Home for Children, 330 E. Leicester Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
