Born on October 27, 1960, in Riverside, California, Catherine was known for her remarkable intelligence, gentle spirit, and deep kindness toward others. She pursued a career in nursing, where she brought care and compassion to those she served. Many who knew her believed her extraordinary mind and keen curiosity about medicine could have led her to become a doctor, yet she found deep fulfillment in the healing work she performed every day.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte, and her father, Bill Norris.
