Catherine B. Lavelle

Catherine B. Lavelle, née Patten, passed away on March 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late James “Jimmy” Lavelle and the devoted mother of Bridget, Grace Campbell (Eddie), and Noel (Michelle). Catherine was the cherished “Granny” of Fiona, James, and Niamh.

Born to the late Mary (née Cattigan) and John Patten, she was the dear sister of Mary Elizabeth DeWitt (Roy), John “Sean” Patten (Marilyn), and Margaret “Peggy” Patten, all of whom predeceased her. Catherine remained a beloved aunt, cousin, and steadfast friend to many throughout her life, known for her quiet strength, warmth, and deep faith.

Her family will carry her memory with enduring love and gratitude for the gentle, generous life she shared with them.
