Catherine Angela Hildwine

Catherine Angela Hildwine, 54, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026 at Bryn Mawr Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Born on August 3, 1971 in Darby to the late John and Margaret (Schneider) Hildwine, Cathy lived most of her life in Sharon Hill and was most recently a resident of Divine Providence Village in Springfield. A graduate of St. Katherine School in Wynnewood, she remained a devoted fan of Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Phillies, and Notre Dame University athletics. She took great joy in celebrating holidays and birthdays, including those of her favorite celebrities, but nothing meant more to her than the love she shared with her large family.

She is survived by her brothers John (Virginia) of Gilbert, Arizona, and Francis (Jeanette) of Nottingham; her sisters Regina Hildwine of Aldan, Eleanor Hildwine of Sharon Hill, and Margaret Reilly (Robert) of New Providence, New Jersey; nephews Eric Hildwine (Jill) and John Reilly; niece Lindie Poetter (David); her great-nephews and great-nieces; and many cousins. In addition to her parents, Cathy was predeceased by her brother Gerald and two nephews.
