Cassanova White Sr. was born on May 7, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Cass White and Lillian Marie White. He departed this life on March 1, 2026, at the age of 83.
A lifelong resident of Cincinnati’s West End, Cassanova was well known throughout the city. He served in the Armed Forces and later worked for Washington Limousine Service, School Bus Systems, and Nappa Car Parts. He enjoyed playing card games, particularly whist and spades.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Cassanova (Gabby) White Jr. and Antonio (Tony) Garnett, and his brothers, Samuel, Arnold, and Roger White.
Cassanova leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Dwayne (Fatman) Flowers and Dwayne Blackwell; his daughters, Carmen “Lady” (Corey) Willis and Marie West; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Shirley White Colbert, Yvonne Fields, Alice Cooper of Sacramento, California, Virginia Washington, and Joyce (Pete) George of Cincinnati, Ohio; his brothers, Jerry White of Florida and Willie White of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be laid to rest at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
