Cassandra Lynn Griffin

Cassandra Griffin, 56, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on March 13, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on March 4, 1970, in St. Joseph, she was the daughter of the late Theresa and Gregory Noland. She graduated from Denbigh High School in Newport, Virginia.

For thirty years, Cassandra shared her life with Dale Charles, and together they were inseparable. She worked as a casino dealer at the River Boat Casino. She found simple joy in what she called “bye-bye rides,” getting out of the house, watching The Munsters, scrolling TikTok, and spending time talking with her sisters. A self-described shopaholic, her greatest happiness came from being with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Toni Jean Schooler. Cassandra is survived by her life partner of thirty years, Dale Charles; her daughter, Amanda (Charles Horvath) Noland of St. Joseph; her sons, Andrew (Denae Gilbert) Griffin of St. Joseph and Jacob (Kristin) Griffin of Ankeny, Iowa; her step-son, Andrew (Maria) Charles of Kansas City, Missouri; her sisters, Candy (Rodney) Riddle of St. Joseph and Dawn (Armando) Perez of Kansas City, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Tristan, Serena, Coraline, Ally, Raidyn, Lydia, Ruby, Teddy, Lincoln, Cora, and Cooper.
