Cassandra Isler ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Howard K. Hill Funeral Services - New Haven on Mar. 17, 2026.Cassandra "Sandy" Isler (née Faulk), was born in New Haven, Connecticut on October 4,1962 to the late Lucretia (Armstead) Faulk and Arthur Faulk, Sr. She grew up in New Haven on Bristol Street, in the same home where she would later raise her children and one of her grandchildren. Sandy went home to the Lord on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, after a long battle with cancer - her husband, Minister Jeff Christopher Isler and family were by her bedside.Sandy attended New Haven Public Schools and graduated from Wilbur Cross High School. She dedicated the length of her career as an educator at St. Andrew's Child Care Center, where she loved to foster a beautiful learning environment for her "babies." In 2023, she went into business for herself, creating beaded jewelry and custom items with Sandy's Bead Collection - her items were loved by family, friends and customers. She was a devoted member of Body of Christ Assembly since 2012 where she proudly rededicated herself to Christ.Sandy was known for her high spirit, fun personality, colorful hair, matching jewelry, and love for crafting. In her many iterations of life, she showed up with a contagious energy, an honest spirit and a dedication to bringing people together - she was the life of the party. Sandy was deeply passionate about her family - speaking highly of her husband, children and grandchildren every chance she could. She loved to travel and enjoy a blessed life with her husband, Chris Isler, whom she married on August 29, 2015. She showed endless support to her children, Tamia Faulk, Lamaris Bellamy, and Patricia Bellamy-Mathis (William Mathis). And she cherished and spoiled her grandchildren, Zariyah Faulk, Alexander Bellamy, Elijah Bellamy, Aspenne Mathis, and Nova Mathis.Aside from her husband, children and grandchildren, Sandy leaves to cherish her memory: her father, Arthur Faulk, Sr.; sister, Belinda Gibbs; brothers, Arthur Faulk, Jr., James Faulk, and John Faulk; sisters-in-law, LaTanya Isler and Sherice Isler; mother-in-law, Betty Isler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Lucretia Faulk; sister, Deborah Faulk; granddaughter, Amilyah Bellamy; and brother-in-love, Bobby DuBose. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
