He spent much of his early childhood in the Freeport, TX area, where he developed a love for the outdoors and the importance of family. Values that would stay with him throughout his life.He later moved to Galveston, where he graduated from Ball High School in 1993. Casey went on to build a career withEarth Engineering, working as a Senior FieldTechnician.Casey fell in love young and married his first wife, Grillena Mack, when he was just sixteen years old.Together they welcomed four children into the world. Though their marriage later ended amicably, Caseyalways wanted to be there for his kids. Later in life he met Crystal Cortez, and together they welcomed two more children.If you knew Casey, you knew he was the strong, quiet, and steady type. He wasn't someone who spoke just to fill the silence. Instead, he chose his words carefully, giving them meaning and weight. Caseycarried himself with humility and believed in treating people with kindness and respect.Like anyone, Casey faced his share of challenges in life, but those who truly knew him understood something important about him: in times of need, he would be there. His loyalty to those he loved never wavered.Casey found happiness in the simple things in life like spending time outdoors and being with those that he loved. Some of the best memories of him will always be the laughter shared at family gatherings or the moments spent standing around the grill. And if you spent enough time with Casey, you probably heard his favorite saying: "Oh, that's cold-blooded." It was just one of those little things about him that people will always remember and smile about.Casey will be remembered for his big heart, quiet strength, and humble spirit. He had a way of bringing a steady sense of calm to the people around him. Though he may not have always said a lot, his actions spoke volumes about the kind of man he was.He is preceded in death by beloved son, Casey N. Garza, Jr.He is survived by children, Thomas, Marlene, Charlene, Julian, Adrian, and Camay Garza; siblings, David and Theresa Garza, Cynthia Alvarado, Kimberly Garza, Lisa Leos, Gere Garza, and Miasara Garza, and their spouses. Casey also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever carry his memory with them.The visitation will be from 9:30am to 11am on March 12, 2026 at Carnes Funeral Home located at 3100 Gulf Fwy, Texas City, TX 77591 followed by Funeral Services at 11am to Noon. Graveside service will be held on March 12, 2026 at around 1:15pm at Lakeview Cemetery.Pallbearers will be David, Thomas, Julian and Adrian Garza, Romeo and David Rodriguez, Andres and Anthony Garza.Casey was a beautiful soul who was taken from his family far too soon.
