Caryle Christopher of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 7, 2026 after a long and courageous battle with illness, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born to the late Patricia Townsel Toney and the late Billie H. Toney, Caryle was raised with strong values of faith, family, and kindness that she carried throughout her life. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, a cherished sister, and a loyal friend. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for those around her will be remembered always.
Caryle shared a beautiful life with her husband, Alan Christopher, whose steadfast love and support remained by her side. Together they built a family grounded in compassion and resilience.
She leaves behind her beloved children, Christina Jones of Valdosta Ga and her husband, Neil Jones; and AJ Christopher of Valdosta Ga and his wife, Laura Lahood Christopher.
Caryle was a proud and devoted Nana to Camryn, Allea, Avery, David, Carson, Julia, and Olivia. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
She is also survived by her brothers: Dale Toney and Mallory of Ocala, Florida; Steve Toney of Washington State; and Joe and Patricia Pierce of Welcome, NC, Laura Pollock of Fayetteville, NC. Caryle held dear her extended family as well, including her Aunt Beadie Townsel and family of Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Caryle’s legacy is one of love, perseverance, and grace. Even in the face of illness, she demonstrated remarkable courage and an enduring spirit that inspired everyone who knew her. Her gentle heart, warm smile, and caring nature will live on in the many lives she touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that acts of kindness be done in Caryle’s memory, honoring the compassion she so freely gave.
A visitation and gathering for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
