Carroll Wayne Broussard

Carroll Wayne Broussard, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on June 16, 1948, in Jennings, Louisiana, he lived a full and vibrant life in Lake Arthur. A proud Navy veteran who served with the Seabees, Carroll cherished the camaraderie and purpose his military service provided. He later worked as an operator in the petrochemical industry, where his strong work ethic and dedication were widely respected.

Carroll found deep joy in the outdoors, spending many peaceful hours hunting deer, fishing, and shooting. He also had a lifelong enthusiasm for cars and took great pleasure in buying them. He is survived by the mother of his children, Gloria Ann Thibodeaux, and his loving sons Mark (Erin), Dustin (Mandy), and Brent (Brandi) Broussard. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Hailey, Mia, Jenna, Sagan, Maci, Morgan, Aaron, Jacob, Ava, and Lea Broussard.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Hattie Faulk Broussard; his brother, Douglas Broussard, Jr.; and his sisters, Shirley Duhon and Ruth Trahan.
