Carroll Edward Reed

Carroll Edward Reed, 89, of Finksburg, Maryland, passed away on March 8, 2026, at Dove House in Westminster, Maryland. Born on December 13, 1936, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Carroll and Mary (Wright) Reed. He was the beloved husband of the late Priscilla Ann Reed.

Carroll proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He remained an active member of the Freedom Optimist Club in Sykesville and the Marine Corps League – LCpl Deane Detachment #770 in Mount Airy. He also served as a former Trustee of Oakland United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Ann Naill and Kelly M. Reed; his son, Steven M. Reed (Michelle); three granddaughters, Mallori L. Naill, Jordan M. Barstad (Leif), and Sydney F. Keim; a grandson, Garrett R. Naill; and great-grandchildren Aubree, Wyatt, and Trinity.
