Carrie Taylor

Carrie Taylor was born on November 25, 1949, to Arthur and Claudia Gibson. She passed away on March 6, 2026. She was married to James Taylor and was a graduate of Hubbard High School. She worked for many years at General Motors and was a longtime member of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey.

Carrie was preceded in death by her husband, James Taylor, her daughter, Cassandra Taylor, two brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her granddaughter, Casey; two great-grandsons; her sisters, Mary Gibson and Letasha (Horace) Pope; her brothers, Isaiah (Brenda) Gibson and William (Susan) Gibson; and her sisters-in-law, Gladys (Jakie) Gadson of Clearwater, Florida, Gloria Stanley of Macon, Georgia, Rose Mary (Roosevelt) Williams of Juliette, Georgia, and Virginia Story of Macon, Georgia. She will be remembered fondly by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
