Carrie Marie Fitzpatrick

1949 — 2026

Baldwinville, MA

Carrie Marie Fitzpatrick, born July 1, 1949, in Winchendon, Massachusetts, to the late Freeman Ball and Mary (McIntire) Ball, passed away on March 10, 2026. She lived most of her life between Winchendon and Baldwinville.

Carrie worked for many years in the manufacturing industry, bringing the same dedication and care to her job that she showed her family and her many beloved animals. In later years she devoted herself to caring for her sister and, before that, her mother. She once tended a small farm she cherished and shared her life with a colorful array of pets, including a monkey, a donkey, emus, and many others. Fishing was one of her greatest joys, offering her peace and quiet pleasure on the water.

She is survived by her first husband, James P. Cutting Sr. of Phillipston, with whom she shared three children: James P. Cutting Jr. and his girlfriend Kelly Logue of Baldwinville, John Cutting and his wife Cassandra Cutting of Baldwinville, and Sarah Harris and her husband Robert Harris of Jaffrey, New Hampshire. She also leaves her brother Doug Ball of Gardner, her sister Clarice Monette of Baldwinville, one grandson, Jack Cutting, and several nieces and nephews. Carrie was predeceased by her second husband, John Fitzpatrick.
