Carolyn Sue Strong, 82, of Fairland, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at St. Franciscan Health.
Born on January 28, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Henry A. Russell and Captola (Knight) Russell, Carolyn Sue was a lifelong member of the Northwood Christian Church. She found great joy in her flowers and, above all, in the time she spent with her grandchildren.
She married Rondell T. Strong on February 4, 1963. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2002.
Carolyn Sue is survived by her son, Ray Allen (Brenda) Strong; her daughter, Ronda Sue (Brett Alan) Jackson; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Patty Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Joyce Thomas; and her brothers, Rick Russell and William Russell.
