Carolyn Sue Holliday

Carolyn Sue Holliday, 76, of Ozawkie, Kansas, passed away on March 13, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. Born on June 6, 1949, in Topeka, she was the daughter of Harry Vernon and Mary Margaret Cody Long.

A 1967 graduate of Seaman High School, Carolyn married Robert Lee Holliday on October 1, 1967, in North Topeka. She devoted herself to her family as a homemaker and loving mother to their two children.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; her son, Robert Lee Holliday II and his wife Fareeda Khauji of Tucson, Arizona; her daughter, Susan Gaschen and her husband James of Meriden, Kansas; her sister, Mary Ellen “Marty” Mavrovich of Holton, Kansas; three grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

She was laid to rest at Ozawkie Cemetery.
