Carolyn Cochran ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home on Mar. 9, 2026.Carolyn Sue Cochran, 69, widow to the late Michael Cochran of Georgetown, Kentucky passed away peacefully surrounded by her children at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, on March 4, 2026. She was born on March 11, 1956, in Matewan, West Virginia to the late Eddie and Lilly William.She spent over 30 years working in nursing homes in Georgetown, KY as the head of housekeeping while also doing many other tasks alongside CANs and RNs, she did anything short of passing out meds. Loved by all the residents and staff alike, she will be known for her kindness and willingness to help.She is survived by her three children Lisa Marie Alexander, Michael Francis Cochran and Timmy Lee Winburn, daughter-in-law Heather Cooper; granddaughter Felicia Ann Worley; two great grandchildren Genec and Olivia, as well as two grandboys and a granddaughter she took in as her own grandchildren Michael, Austin and Hailey; and a host of family and friends that will miss her every day. She was loved by many children of friends that would come by frequently and treat her as if she was a "Godmother".She was always supportive of her children's life choices they would make rather it be pursuing a career in slap fighting or pro wrestling she was there cheering them on. She was there to give encouragement no matter the life choices or path they took.She is still needed her and will be missed beyond what words could express. The family would like to thank all who sent prayers and positive vibes to Carolyn and our family during these trying times. The family truly appreciates it.A celebration of Carolyn's life will take place later date and time.Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and leave messages of condolences here on Carolyn's tribute wall.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
