Carolyn Roddy Bowman

Carolyn Roddy Bowman, age 86 of Lafayette, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Skyline Medical Center.

Born on February 21, 1940, in Hartsville, Tennessee, to the late Vollie and Myrtle Merryman Roddy, Carolyn was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bell Scruggs; her brothers, Vollie Jr., Ray, William, and Jerry Roddy; and her sister, Mary Roddy.

She is survived by her three daughters, Benecca Storey of Lafayette, Tara Vaughan of Lafayette, and Trina (Denton) Hunt of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Tanya (Tony) Crook, Adam (Charlie) Storey, Justin (Katie) Vaughan, Amber (Colton) Tate, and Karli Carver; eight great-grandchildren, Chaz Vaughan, Addyson Storey, Kase Crook, Keelee Crook, Savannah Vaughan, Henry Vaughan, Hadley Tate, and Huntlee Tate; and one great-great-grandchild, Karter Vaughan.

Carolyn lived a life deeply rooted in family, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue through the many generations she cherished.
