Carolyn R. Hofherr

Carolyn R. Hofherr, 93, of Yorktown, passed away on March 4, 2026, at the Waters of Chesterfield. Born on February 15, 1933, she was the daughter of Carl R. McKinley Sr. and Kathryn (Kitchen) McKinley. She graduated from Yorktown High School and later worked as a library assistant at Yorktown High School and the Cooper Science Building at Ball State University. A longtime member of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene, Carolyn was known as a devoted homemaker and loving mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas N. Hofherr; a daughter, Kathy K. Edwards; and her parents.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Timothy J. Hofherr (Terri Wilson); her brother, Stanley McKinley (Linda); and several nieces and nephews. She will be laid to rest in Hawk Cemetery, Yorktown.
