Carolyn Westermann ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery - Scottsdale on Mar. 9, 2026.Our beloved Teddy, Carolyn Lee Westermann ( née Burkemper), passed away peacefully on February 26th leaving behind a legacy of love, beauty and grace that will forever live in our hearts. She was the definition of elegance, gentleness and kindness, yet full of life and curiosity. She found joy in the simple and exquisite alike: strolling through Paris with her husband, savoring the art and flavors of Italy and creating magic in her own kitchen. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and love. She had an eye for beauty and a passion for elegant fashion. She had a long career with Ralph Lauren as a manager and mentor. She had effortless style, but it was her inner beauty, her compassion, her sweetness, and her generosity that truly defined her. After she retired she spent her time reading , scrap booking and as a volunteer for Hospice of the Valley. She loved her family deeply, especially her six grandchildren who she was so proud of.Above all, she adored her loyal doodle Calvin, who brought her endless comfort and joy.To know her was to be touched by her grace. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day. She will be remembered always for her warmth, her unwavering love, and her charitable heart that made the world a better place. Though she has left this earth, Her light and love will continue to shine in all who were blessed to know her.Carolyn leaves behind her beloved husband, Bill Eckles.
