Carolyn Jean Nichols

Carolyn Jean Gilmore Nichols was born on May 25, 1945 to the late Wilburn Wilson Gilmore and Bonnie Inez Elliott Gilmore. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Ms. Nichols grew up in Skullbone, and for the last 44 years she lived in Dresden. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Nichols, sister JoAnn Arnold, daughter Judy Gardiner and nephew Jimmy Arnold. She is survived by her son-n-law Eddie Gardiner, her son William Darrell Holt, her daughters Pamela (Terry) Tidwell and Rae (Kevin) Warren, her brother Willie (Sharon) Gilmore, her grandchildren Heidi Gardiner, Sherree Watson, Amanda Holt, Terry Wayne Tidwell, Robert Tidwell, LaDonna (Nate) Temple, and Emily Warren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, along with 2 nephews. Ms. Nichols was loved by many friends and family. In lieu of flowers, Ms. Nichols would like donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
