Carolyn Ford

Carolyn Ford, 83, of Cleburne, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026. Born on September 2, 1942, she lived a life defined by kindness, devotion, and a gentle spirit that touched everyone around her.

A cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, Carolyn was deeply family-oriented. She shared a lifelong bond with her husband, the late Ogle Clyde “Buster” Ford. Her nurturing presence remained a steady foundation for her children and grandchildren throughout her life.

Carolyn enjoyed a long and meaningful career at Cooke Elementary School, where she was known for her encouragement and affection toward the children and her colleagues. In her personal time, she found joy in sewing and crocheting, creating handmade gifts for loved ones, tending to her beloved plants and garden, and traveling to experience new places.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Lucille Jones; her husband, Ogle Clyde “Buster” Ford; her sons, Ogle Clyde III and William James Ford Sr.; her sister, Sue Ann Jones-Hughes; and her granddaughter, Mallory Kay Ford. Carolyn is survived by her grandchildren, Amanda Ford, William Ford Jr., and Kaylee Ford and husband Kyle; her great-grandchildren, Skylar, Kyle, Derek, Amorae, Keatton, James, and Aubrey; her brother, Donnie Jones and wife Rhonda; and her beloved dog, Lucy.
