Carolyn E. Snell

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn E. Snell of Shreve, Ohio, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn E. Snell to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Doyle and Stella Irene McClaran (Wise); her parents-in-law, Ford and Elizabeth Snell (Bruce); her sons-in-law, Dennis Davenport, Rick Tipton and George Rose; her siblings, Freda Willison (Willie), Doyle McClaran, Marion McClaran (Jeanne) and Wayne McClaran (Glenda); her siblings-in-law, Ed Snell (Margaret) and Linda Kick; and her granddaughter Amiee Davenport.

She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Davenport, Penny Tipton (Joe Natalizio) and Teresa Rose; her grandchildren, Michelle Minichino (Peter), Melinda Davenport (Andy Gum), Troy Tipton (Amber DeSmith), Ashley Tipton (Nick Brammer), Eric Rose and Adam Rose; and her siblings-in-law, JoAnn McClaran, Hilda Martin (Terry), Roger Snell (Wilma) and Ronald Kick. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Schlabach Funeral Home (212 Jones St, Shreve, OH 44676).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to LifeCare Hospice.
