Carolyn Ann Elswick

Carolyn Ann Elswick was born on January 20, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio, where she also passed away on March 15, 2026. She lived a life marked by hard work, kindness, and a love for caring for others.

Carolyn graduated from South High School in Columbus. After school, she committed many years to her career, working for 15 years at the United States Postal Service. Later, she spent 10 years working at the Auto Auction in Obetz. These roles showed her dedication and strong work ethic.

Known for being always on the go, Carolyn enjoyed keeping busy. She liked to clean and was an avid thrift store shopper. One of her special joys was buying things for other people, reflecting her caring nature.

She is remembered as a loving and caring person by those who knew her. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Jessica Lynn Elswick; her sister, Charlene Cohagan; and her brothers, Charles L. (Linda) and Thomas Storts.   Carolyn also leaves behind her caretaker and friend of 34 years, Stacy Brooks and her family, who lovingly called her aunt and nana.  They carry forward her memory and the love she shared.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Marie Storts; her father, Charles E. Storts; and her brothers, Timmy and Jimmy Storts.

Carolyn’s life touched many people through her kindness and her spirited approach to life. She will be remembered fondly by family, friends, and all who knew her.

Visitation Friday, March 20, 2026 from 6pm until the time of Funeral Service at 7pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
