Carolyn Ann Cuppett

Carolyn Ann (Wotring) Cuppett, 79, of Terra Alta, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born on May 13, 1946, in Elk Garden, West Virginia, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Ray Woodrow Wotring and Blanche (Knotts) Wotring. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who brought energy and warmth to every part of her life. Whether running errands or tending to things around the house, she remained active and engaged, but nothing meant more to her than the time she spent with her family.

Carolyn is survived by her three sons, David Rhodes, Allen Rhodes, and Bobby Rhodes; her grandchildren, Tyler Rhodes, Jayden Rhodes, Erin Thomas, Eric Browning, Rebecca Browning, Shawn Rhodes, and Dillon Rhodes; her great-grandchildren, Zayden Moats, Ian Moats, and Annabelle Moats, Hunter Whitehair and Payson Whitehair, Hudson Browning, Ellie Browning, and Pearson Browning; her two sisters, Brenda Feather and Sharon Jennings; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Joe Rhodes; her brother, Denzil Wotring; her sisters, Linda Himelrick and infant Shirley Wotring; and her parents.
