Carolina Sue Craft Puckett, 78, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
Born on February 19, 1948, in Morehead, Sue was the daughter of the late Henry A. Craft and Norma Butler Curtis. She worked for many years as a phlebotomist at St. Claire Regional Medical Center before retiring. A longtime attendee of Lick Fork Pentecostal Church, she found joy in quilting, coloring, traveling, and singing, but nothing meant more to her than spending time with her family.
Sue was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Ann Plank Masters; granddaughter, Hannah Parish; grandsons, Jeffery Lee Plank and Cody Catching; infant twin grandchildren; brothers, Henry Dale Craft and Arvis Curtis; and sister, Debbie Layne.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Puckett, Jr.; son, Addie Lee Plank, Jr. (Amanda) of Morehead; daughters, Apryl Lynn Saunders (Donnie) of Flemingsburg, Samantha Oleatha Plank (Hollie) of Morehead, Patricia Sue Puckett of Clearfield, and Mia Dawn Conway (Jason Parish) of Morehead; brother, Avery T. Craft of Flemingsburg; sisters, Pam Young, Lora Perkins, Bonnie Hamilton, and Hattie Little of Morehead, and Zourdah Howard of Farmers; nineteen grandchildren, Hallie Plank, Channing Plank, Ethan Jordan, Gavin Crouch, Christian Plank, Heather Boggs, Mia Boggs, Mackenzie Boggs, Madison Bentley, Colton Parish, Salem Parish, Silas Parish, Riley Donathan, Roman Pugh, Ashley Dummitt, Nathan Richmond, Marcus Richmond, Michael Richmond, and Lakeli Hurt; a host of great-grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Patty Glover of Morehead; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will cherish her memory.
