Lowery passed away peacefully on March 9th, 2026, in Knightdale, North Carolina, at the age of 79. She was born on November 29th, 1946, in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Alfred Klansky and Mary Jane Klansky. Carolee spent many years working in retail and retired as a merchandise clerk, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic, talented in creating and designing. Throughout her life, she cherished time with her family and the relationships she built with those around her.Carolee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Lowery. She is survived by her daughter, Tara Rabitz and her husband Tony Rabitz, and their daughters, Taylor Rabitz and her fiancé Jake Massing, and Dalia Rabitz. She is also survived by her son, Shawn Lowery, and his daughters, Autumn Lowery and Maggie Lowery. She is further survived by her sisters, Pam Bryant, Barbara McKeon, and Margaret McCauley, as well as her brother Michael Klansky and godson Douglas Drake.Carolee will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the many memories she created with those closest to her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Tara Rabitz to help with Carolee's medical expenses.
