Carol Young

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Carol leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Smith and Pearl Smith (Thompson); and her husband Guy Young. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Bump (Carlyle) of Corfu, Kim Barkley (Robert) of Batavia and Rebecca Gualtieri of Farmington; and her brother Richard Smith. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the H. E. Turner & Co. (403 E Main St, Batavia, NY 14020). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
