Carol Susanne Kettlewell

Carol Susanne Kettlewell, born October 28, 1951, in Sandusky, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, in Hemlock, Michigan. With her quick wit and warm presence, Carol brought laughter and light to everyone around her throughout her life.

A graduate of high school, Carol worked in manufacturing at Saginaw Steering Gear, where her strong work ethic and dedication were evident. She was known as a true jokester whose infectious laughter could brighten any room. Carol cherished her close friendships, particularly her bond with “the three amigos,” and found great joy in the outdoors. She loved to travel, sit by bonfires, and enjoy a cold drink on warm summer evenings. Her whimsical side shone through in her fondness for frogs and cats, while her passion for sports kept her enthusiastically following hockey and football.

Carol’s family was the cornerstone of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She is survived by her siblings, Shareen and Judy; her nephews, Rich, Shane, Dan, and Gary; her great nieces, Nora, Claire, and Josceyln; her best friends, Brenda (Clarence) and Diane; and many other dear friends and family members. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Gary.

Carol’s spirit, her love of simple pleasures, and the joy she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
