Carol Davis ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Whitlock Mortuary, Inc. on Mar. 13, 2026.Carol McGee Davis, age 87, of Austell, Georgia, formerly of Toccoa, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.Born on December 9, 1938, in Marion, North Carolina, Carol was the daughter of Ransom Vandriver and Fleecy Ussery McGee. Throughout her life, Carol, a homemaker, was known for her kindness, compassion, and dedication to her family.Carol dedicated her life to raising her three sons, Michael (Mike), Robert Allan (Bobby), and Christopher Andrew (Andy), being a homemaker and amazing cook. She especially enjoyed selling furniture, collecting Annalee dolls, fishing and solving word puzzles. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren.Carol is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Lauren Davis (Anderson, SC), Andy and Beth Davis (Hiram, GA) and their children, Hannah (Young Harris, GA) and Andrea (Tusculum, TN); daughter in law, Rhonda Whitworth (Toccoa, GA), and her daughters Jennifer and Khari Prather and her sons Kaden and Karter Fulbright (Toccoa, GA) and Amy and Stacey Holcomb, and her daughters Ansley and Averie Sheriff (Toccoa, GA).She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim; and by her son, Mike.The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1pm – 2:30pm Tuesday, March 17, 2026.A graveside service will be held at three o'clock Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Eastanollee Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev.
