She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Salzwedel and Dora Salzwedel (Tuschy); and her husband Roger Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Scott Schmidt and Sarah Klatt (John); her grandchildren, Christopher Klatt (Sarah), Aaron Klatt (Macy), Hayleigh and Ryleigh; her brother Roger Salzwedel; and her friends, Andrea, Dave Dittman and Carol. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home (251 S Cecil St, Bonduel, WI 54107). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
