Feeney of Estero and Naples Florida died peacefully on, February 27, 2026, with her family by her side. She was 79.Born in Philadelphia she was the beloved wife of the late William J. Feeney for the past 60 years, who died on February 10, 2026.Daughter of the late Henry and Mildred Bescript Witte, Sister of Henry Witte, Cynthia Connolly, and the late Ronald Witte.Carol lived in Philadelphia until her family moved to Churchville, Pa. She graduated from Council Rock School in 1965.Carol was much more than a homemaker. She raised five children and helped run a small farm in Richboro. The farm had steer, pigs, chickens and a menagerie of other animals. For many years, they grew chrysanthemums. Once the children were older, she and Bill moved to Doylestown, Pa. She spent a few years as a teacher's aide in the Central Bucks School District where she enjoyed working with special needs students.One of Carol's passions was gardening. Her gardens in Doylestown received many awards and were an annual stop on the garden and house tours.Another passion was needlework. Throughout the years, Carol took up knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, cross-stitch, and rug hooking. She became a nationally known rug hooker through her unique, colorful, and whimsical rug designs. Over the years, she became a sought-after instructor at regional rug hooking workshops.Along with her husband, she was a member of Doylestown Country Club, Pelican Marsh Golf Club and presently a member of the Estero Country Club at the Vines.Upon moving to Florida, Carol honed her entrepreneurial skills. In Naples, she and her husband Bill opened a successful flower shop, called "Occasions", which they operated alongside their son, Sean, for many years. She also started a house check business and a well-respected hooked rug designing and consulting business.Carol and Bill discovered a love of travel later in life. They enjoyed many great transatlantic cruises, toured throughout the Baltics, Ireland, Spain and the United Kingdom and always had time to plan another trip. They especially loved their yearly month spent in St. Martin.Carol is survived by her children Patti Ann Finch and her husband Bernie, Kevin Feeney and his partner Michael Gonzalez, Brian Feeney and his wife Kathleen, Matthew Feeney and his wife Tracey and Sean Feeney and his partner Mark Bubloski.Also surviving are 13 grandchildren: Max and Marty Finch, Macy Pope, Aiden, Jack, Emily, William, Ryan, Carter, Blake, Logan, Ally, and Makayla Feeney and 5 great grandchildren: Theo, Henry, Charlie Finch, Ivy Feeney and Arthur Pope along with many nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to greet her family on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 9:30 am until 11:00 am and attend her Celebration and Sharing at 11:00 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.)
