Carol Joan Majewski

Carol Joan Majewski, 81, of Twelve Mile, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at her residence.

Born on September 23, 1944, in Carroll County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Harry Adolphus and Mayme Gladys (Edgerly) Hartman. On April 27, 2009, in Rochester, Indiana, she married Thomas Majewski.

A member of the Lakeside Church of Jesus Christ in Plymouth, Carol found deep joy in cooking and baking for others, reading her Bible, and above all, in the time she spent with her family. She is remembered for her quiet faith and the warmth she brought to those closest to her.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Majewski of Logansport; six children, Bartholomew “Joe” Baker of Rochester, C. J. Justice of Tennessee, Damien Baker of Logansport, Eric Baker (Tina Stiles) of Rochester, Flynn Whittington of Rochester, New York, and Greg Whittington of Rochester, New York; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three step-children, Thomas L. Majewski of Gary, Russell J. Majewski of Portage, and Donna R. Majewski of Portage.

Carol was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Baker; thirteen siblings; and her late husband, Robert Bruce.
