Carol Jean McRaney Sessions, 84, of Florence, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at her home.
Born on April 15, 1941, to Ornie Spears and Emma Welford, Carol spent her working years as a cook. She was known for her love of baking sweets, her passion for collecting photographs, and her joy in growing plants.
She is survived by her three sons, Randy (Christina) McRaney, Mark (Kelli) McRaney, and Marshall (Stephanie) McRaney, as well as her beloved grandchildren Tyler, Bryson, Alex, Jacob, Victoria, Hannah, Brandon, Buddy, and Karessa, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill McRaney, her second husband, Billy Sessions, her sister Harriet Parnel, and her brothers Glen Spears and James Spears.
