LundinNee BrandAge 86 passed away Friday March 13, 2026, at Hearthwood Senior Living in Bartlett, IL. Previously she spent one year living at Westbrook Assisted Living in Streamwood, IL. A resident of the Grand Haven Community in Romeoville, IL for more than 20 years, previously resided in Elmhurst, IL. Over the years, Carol was an active member of the communities she lived in, she was a Jr. Achievement Advisor, Foster Parent, Girl Scout Leader and Cub Scout Den Mother, PTA Board Member, and Elmhurst Jaycees Wives Group. She was a member of St. Mary the Immaculate Parish in Plainfield and was a Temple Tender in 2006, assisted with Youth Ministry from January to September in 2007, and a Library Assistant from September 2007 to June of 2009. She volunteered at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, and as a resident of Grand Haven, she participated in numerous clubs including: Needles, Garden, Stamp Craft, Wii Bowling, Bocci, Bunco, and the Civic Clubs. Carol is survived by her loving children Jeanne (Richard) Auskalnis, Scott (Jennifer) Lundin, Dawn (Karl) Hinrichs, and Christy (Robert) Swanson; siblings Donald (Helen) Brand, Linda (Chris) Dansky, and Sue (Dave) Kolinski; grandchildren Richard (Felicite) Auskalnis, Bridgette (Robert) Bolen, Dominic Hartigan, Miranda (Matt) Johanson, Ryan Lundin, Alex Hinrichs, Colton Hinrichs, Corine (Justin) Lambert, Harrison Hinrichs, Jake Swanson, and Rex Swanson; great grandchildren Amelia, Richard, and Avery, also numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Lundin, also her parents Raymond Brand and Jean Ryan. Visitation Friday, March 20, 2026, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, IL 60544. Mass to follow 11:00 am at St. Mary Immaculate Parish in Plainfield.
