Carol Frances Brewer

Carol Frances Brewer, age 82, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Carol brought joy to everyone around her. She held her family close to her heart and treasured every moment spent with them. Her deep affection for Mickey Mouse led to many cherished visits to Disney World, while her kindness and creativity shone through in the handmade crocheted blankets she lovingly created for those she cared about.

Carol spent many meaningful years working at St. Mary’s Hospital, where she formed lifelong friendships and took great pride in her work and the relationships she built there.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Joe Brewer; her mother, Marie Taylor; her father, Frank Taylor; and the grandparents who raised her, James Everett (Jimmer) and Lena Everett (Granny). Carol is survived by her son, Joey Brewer; her daughter-in-law, Beth Brewer; her grandsons, Matthew McSwords and Bryce Brewer; her sister, Frankie Collins (Boe) (Mike Collins); and her nephew, Jason Webb.

Carol will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, yet the memories she created and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
