Carol Taylor ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Green Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery - Sapulpa on Mar. 6, 2026.It is with love and remembrance that we announce the passing of a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend, who left this world peacefully and surrounded by family at the age of 82. A lifelong resident of west Tulsa, Oklahoma, she built a life full of simple joys, strong family ties, and warm memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.Carol Ann Taylor was born December 13, 1943 to Marguerite and John Turner. She worked multiple jobs during her life but her favorite was being a receptionist at Neighbor for Neighbor. Carol was the mother to four sons and a sibling to two loving sisters with whom she shared many years of laughter, stories, and sisterly devotion. She found happiness in life's small pleasures– spending quiet days fishing, enjoying a good shopping trip, and sharing her home with the cats she adored. She rarely turned down a bowl of ice cream or a piece of chocolate, and those sweet treats often accompanied her with a good television show, conversations, and easy laughter.Carol was preceded in death by her mother Marguerite Turner; father John Turner; and her two loving sisters Lana Fuller and Sue Trusty. She is survived by her niece Regina Jordan; a whole host of great nieces and nephews, Nichell Searcy and husband Jeffery; Natasha Stead; Logan Jordan and wife Emily; Dalton Jordan and partner Shelby New; Ashleigh Thames; and best friend and confidante Sister Lillian Healy; along with many other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Those who knew her will remember her kind heart, her steady presence, and the comfort of her company. She created a lifetime of memories for her family and friends , and her spirit will remain with them always. Her family will hold her memory close, grateful for the many years of love she gave and the life she lived in the community she called home. There are no services.
