Carol A. Kielcheski, 84, passed away on March 7, 2026, at her home surrounded by her children. She was born on January 12, 1942, in Kewaunee, the daughter of Gilbert and Esther (Maigatter) Geier. She enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles, bird watching, Hallmark movies, thrift store shopping, and watching the Badgers and Packers. She was also a basketball enthusiast, enjoying March Madness and watching high school basketball tournaments. Carol was passionate about stock car racing at WIR. As an avid fan since 1977, she loved watching her grandsons race more than anything. She will be remembered most for her immense love of family and friends, and she cared deeply about those she knew.

Carol is survived by her 3 children: Wendy (Jeff) Ruedinger, Scott “Scooter” (Lisa) Wians, and Jody (Joel Bowser) Wians; 9 grandchildren: Sarah, Rebecca, Hannah, Abby, Alex, Tyler, Kimberly, Amber (Corey), and Kyle; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; special neighbors: Eenie and Bruce Nissen; special friends: Ron and Cindy Wians; other relatives and close friends from WIR.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands: Robert Wians and Thomas “Papa Tom” Kielcheski; and a brother: Charles “Chuck” Geier.

A private family service will be held for Carol. Inurnment will take place in Riverview Cemetery, Kewaunee.

Carol’s family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at ThedaCare at Home and Hospice and the ThedaCare Regional Cancer Center for their care, compassion, and kindness.
